Ledaže by měly přes ČRK vyjednánu beztrestnost. A tak, pokud budete chtít nějaká ta contestová spojení udělat, asi vám nezbyde nic jiného, než to přeladění DX kmitočtu absolvovat. Doufejme, že příští přelaďování se bude týkat např. KV pásma 14MHz. To by se nás nedotklo. ok1vpz Dear all, it is time to prepare for the abandonment of the 1296MHz frequency slot and your transmission on the 23cm band move to the 1298MHz frequency. Most of you will certainly do so by retuning the MF frequency that drives the 23cm transverter, someone will have to unblock the MF transceiver so that it can also transmit on 147 or 30MHz, others may go the way of retuning the local oscillator in the transverter. Well, there are also those who have some kind of 23cm device that works directly there. If you have a tube PA, you may also need to move the tuning of the anode cavity or neutralize the tube. Write your experience (either here on the discussion board or send it to the administrators of this site with pictures, who will publish them with your consent). The goal is to meet again soon on the band in one of the races held in this by far the most popular GHz band! Tnx. PS: it will probably be useful to have the device modified so that it is possible to switch the frequency between 1296 and 1298MHz so that it is possible to quickly establish QSOs even with possible stragglers. Can you make it to the March sub-regional or to the May sub-regional? Then let us know (on what frequency you will be on) via the QRV sheet for each race: https://darkside.cz/qrv.php Of course - you can behave as OK1RI (CRC) said and leave everything as it was, but it is necessary to realize that due to the allowed power on 1298MHz is about 3 times higher than on 1296 and QRO stations will not stay on more-less QRP at 1296MHz. Unless they have negotiated impunity through CRC. The year 2024 will thus be rather transitional on 23cm - firstly, it is not clear whether the negotiated compromise will remain, secondly, you probably won't be able to make a lot of stations on 1296 MHz anymore, and after all, the 5dB power difference is not so little that one can do without it. And so, if you want to make some contest QSOs, you probably have no choice but to go through the DX frequency retuning. Hopefully, the next retuning will be for example in the 14MHz HF band. That wouldn't affect us.
From the WRC23 meeting it appears that 23cm EME operation will be moving from 1296MHz to 1299MHz sometime in the 2024 or 2025 time frame. WRC23 are endorsing, recommending - but not mandating - a plan which allows the following operating limits for narrowband operation on 23cm:
