Několik slov k pásmu 23cm: Situace je taková, že HF experti z ARRL, RSGB i IARU klidně nechají zrušit pásmo 23cm, pokud budou moci zachovat KV pásma. Ovšem VKVisti s tímto postupem nesouhlasí ani náhodou. Protože fyzika se oklamat nedá a na GHz pásmech je nutné k dělání zajímavých spojení nezbytné použít větší výkon a celá řada stanic již to umí, byla by destrukce tohoto vývoje za posledních 20 let více než tristní. Vzpomeňme, že zástupci RSGB, pověření IARU na poslední konferenci ITU hájit radioamatérské zájmy, nedokázali uchránit radioamatérské zájmy v pásmu, které bylo ještě relativně nedávno pro radioamatéry čistě exkluzivní, aby potom bylo v období studené války "darováno" radionavigaci. A jakkoli je EU ve finančním tlaku, investice na geosatelitní navigaci Galileo, která toto pásmo nyní pokrývá, se jistě najdou. Radioamatérům tedy nezbývá, než se buď smířit s tristním omezením výkonu řádu 100 wattů vyzářeného výkonu, nebo se snažit s ITU nalézt dohodu, jak navrhované destrukční omezení obejít tak, aby to systému Galileo nezpůsobilo škodu vlivem radiokomunikační interference. Jednou z možností je vydat se evropskou cestou a odsunout stranou letitý český předpis z doby před 20-ti lety, který stanovil sčítání výkonů emitovaných do jednotlivých anténních systémů (což byla daň za odsouhlasení max výkonu 3kW PEP) a toto omezení (sčítání výkonů) ponechat jen na pásmech do 432MHz a na vyšších pásmech v souladu s praxí EU je odstranit (23cm a výše) a umožnit tak našim radioamatérům férové soutěžení alespoň v rámci naší EU, nebo najít ještě jiný způsob - já osobně bych preferoval variantu přesunout veškerý úzkopásmový provoz zcela mimo komunikační kanály systému Galileo - nejvyšší kanál končí na 1299,2MHz a v tomto volném pásmu - již bez možnosti přímého interferenčního konfliktu povolit dosavadní "evropské" výkony 750W, či výkony podle případných výkonových limitů jednotlivých mikrovlnných pásem, či dokonce mezi 1299,2 až 1300MHz využít pro radioamatérský úzkopásmový provoz obě tyto varianty. Co tomu říkáte? Nestálo by za to domluvit se v rámci OK a EU podpořit takovou myšlenku a pověřit IARU jejím projednáním s ITU a na národní urovni s jednotlivými radiokomunikačními regulátory? Získali bychom tím ochranu i na příští léta... Zvedne ČRK tuto myšlenku?

And however much the EU is under financial pressure, investment in the Galileo geosatellite navigation system, which now covers this band, will surely be found. Therefore, amateur radio operators have no choice but either to accept the dismal limitation of power on the order of 100 watts of radiated power, or to try to find an agreement with the ITU on how to handle the proposed destructive restrictions to circumvent it in such a way that it does not cause harm to the Galileo system due to radio communication interference. One option is to take the European route and set aside the long - standing Czech regulation from 20 years ago, which established the summation of powers emitted to individual antenna systems (which was a concession for approving a maximum power of 3kW PEP) and to keep this limitation (power summation) only for bands up to 432MHz, while in higher bands, in line with EU practice, remove it (23cm and above) and thus allow our radio amateurs to compete fairly at least within our EU, or find another way - personally, I would prefer the option to move all narrowband operation completely outside the Galileo system's communication channels – the highest channel ends at 1299.2MHz and in this free band – already without the possibility of direct interference conflict – allow the current 'European' power of 750W, or according to potential power limits of individual microwave bands, or even utilize between 1299.2 and 1300MHz for amateur narrowband operation both ways These options. What do you think about it? Wouldn't it be worth agreeing within the framework of the OK and EU to support such an idea and to authorize IARU to discuss it with the ITU and at the national level with individual telecommunications regulators? This way, we would gain protection for the coming years... Will CRC take up this idea?
