Dear friends

Today, Friday morning OA4O (FH17fV) made it's first full EME QSO in CW (YES CW, the dinosaur-mode HI!)
 followed by JT65C! I had the honor to be their first QSO-partner. They had an excellent signal, 429 all the time
on CW, JT65C was easy speaker-copy at -24 but hard to decode due to frequency shifting from their TX (they
had the same problem on their RX-side as well).

They copied my SSB signal, but I did hear them too weak to make a full QSO.

After working for extremely long hours all of this week, Alex (HB9DRI / OA4CRK) and his friends managed to
complete the work and become QRV on 432 EME! They now are QRV with full az and el with their 8m dish, 100 W
 (maybe 300-400W tomorrow), good preamp and lot's of ham-spirit!

I am very happy to announce that Nando, OA4EI, assisted by Alex, HB9DRI/OE4CRK will handle all the CW
operation. JT will only be used if necessary this coming weekend. They hope to fix the drift-problem by Saturday
and then take JT-skeds as well.

They will be QRV Saturday, July 2nd starting from 10.00z until approx. 18z (from 15.00 to 18.00z only JT65C).
On Sunday they will be QRV again. They wish to have no QRM, this is the reason why I coordinate the skeds.
It makes a lot of sense for them to start step by step and not to be "killed" by pile-ups the first day they are active!

You have now the chance to get your sked for Saturday or Sunday by immediately (for Saturday sked no later the
 July 2nd 04.00z, for Sunday no later then July 3rd 06.00z) mailing your request to dan@hb9q.ch. Please indicate
the time you are available for a CW sked or JT65C.
