1296 MHz: Linear rotatable feed,
on 05.03. at 16:11 UA3TCF -20/-13 #108* and at 16:23 UA3TCF O/539
#328 and LO field. Alex has 2.2m dish, linear vertical feed and PA
100 W.
3400 MHz: Before Dubus contest
on Fri 02.03. at 15:00 wkd PA3DZL O/O #38, 17:20 DL7YC 549/549 #39,
20:48 W5LUA 569/569 and at 22:01 K5GW 569/559. JT65C at 21:18 PA3DZL
-23/-23 #2* and 23:16 W5LUA -19/O #3* and JT ODX 8567 km. In contest
wkd on Sat 03.03. at 00:06 OZ6OL 549/549, 00:19 S59DCD 539/539,
00:27 G3LTF 559/559, 00:36 VE6TA 549/559, 00:45 WA6PY 549/559, 00:55

559/539, 17:59 S57NML O/O, 18:22 DL7YC 559/549, 18:39 OH2DG 569/569,
21:12 WA9FWD O/O and 21:59 W5LUA 569/569. On Sun 04.03. added at
00:16 WD5AGO 549/339 for the total 18 QSOs. Hrd was WW2R O and LA8LF
559 (unfortunately Anders eceiving mistakenly on image QRG of 3110
MHz with great Sun and Moon noise figures !). On Mon 05.03. wkd at
19:16 LZ1DX 549/559 and before the sked at 19:24 LA8LF
559/559,#41,1st LA-OK 9 cm easy QSO after Anders retuned his
transverter to correct 3400 MHz. With JT65C wkd at 20:20 ES5PC
-16/-26 and 20:27 LZ1DX -21/-23 #4*.
5760 MHz: On 05.03.at 18:05
DL7YC 559/559 #54. Great signal from 2.4m off-set dish.
24 GHz:
On Tue 06.03. random at 18:06
LX1DB 559/569. In sked with OZ1FF hrd very weak signals both sides
but QSO not completed. Kjeld uses 1.8 m off-set dish and very
similar trx design, but only one 10W DB6NT SSPA . At clear sky and
-2°C we measured “close” Moon noise up to 2,6 dB. Next sked on Thu
08.03. was again preceded at 21:33 with LX1DB 559/569. Willi asked
SSB, but the mike on our side refused to modulate TX properly, sri.
In sked finally wkd at 23:30 OZ1FF M/M #10 as 1st OZ-OK on 24 GHz.
Signals were hard to copy due to big spread (over 200Hz predicted as
maximun of the day, hi). QSO was finalized when clouds cleared the
sky at el 36°/30°, regardless RH rised close to 90%. Moon noise in
clouds decreased to 2.2 dB and later at clear sky returned to 2.5
dB. Whole the time Willi, LX1DB watched OZ1FF signal at O level,
while we paid a penalty of at least 1.5dB using more than 4m of 4.5m
dish (beam-width ≈ 0.21deg) compared to 3m dish at LX1DB.
