PERSEIDS 2018 - 2m OK2PWY JN89KW

The current Es and Auroral season had been very poor so I was looking forward to MS activity during Perseids shower, as it's really good oportunity to work rare stations and rare locators. Since end of July I had been listening for FSK441 stations on 144.370 MHz however activity was very poor, especially from the East. The reason was surprisingly high MS activity in new mode MSK144 at frequency 144,360 MHz. As the result I installed MSHV program and tried to do some MSK QSOs. I had no problem with decoding however I had much bigger problem to be heard as my output power isn't so big. My 1st MSK QSO on 2m was done with Vlad, UA3WM, many thanks Vlad for your patience! It's pity that many of UA stations weren't logged at ON4KST chat so I missed lot of good QSOs. Before end of shower I realized that most of UA stations are logged at special IRC.vhfdx.ru chat, well perhaps I'll use this chat next time.

Few days before Perseids maximum I tried to arrange sked with G7RAU who moved in new rare locator IN79 and SV8PEX from JM99. However my main target was to work with Andorra DXpedition C37MS however they had problem with QRO power and with their barefoot TRX unfortunately we didn't make it. On the other hand I was happy to work IC8SQS from new loc JN60.
