Hallo dear MMMonVHF friends,

again some news and infos via the "NEWSLETTER of Make More Miles on VHF".

Again a small but (we think) nice new feature in our NEWS and REVIEWS. We did implement a place for the WEBLOG-link (or after an expedition, we are able to fill there the LOGs, if we do receive it...). Have a look at NEWS and there at DR400PG or in the REVIEW-Page and CLICK on "LOGFILE" at 3DA0HL to test the new feature... 
Next big change, will be available from up friday - its a special "easter-egg"  ;-)

Keith, G4FUF, have planned in a extended period over a weekend and the Lyrids shower a trip to GW into the rare IO72 Square. He expect to be QRV late on the 20th or early 21st. April on 50-70-144 MHz and meteorscatter...

Here are latest Details about N8S-QRGs:
Start date: April 5 or 6. N8S, Loc AH48LW, 200W + 17 Ele + preamp. TX 144.112 und RX 144.112 and up - N8S always first. They will be qrv mostly during their moonrises and moonsets. Not sure if they will have any elevation. Thanks to Jo, DL8HCZ, who will be in contact to the group...

OX3OX OLE and OX3LX are planning to be qrv on 50MHz,70MHz and 144MHz from GP47TA on greenland (OX). Call will be OX2A or XP1AB. They will stay on the same spot as OX2K some years ago...

Thorsten, DG7TG, and Andy, DG3XA, did cancel their trip to HELGOLAND Island, because of the high winds on the island...

XE1IH, XE1KOF, XE1YJL, XE1XR, XE2ML, XE2AUB will operate as 4A3IH from Ixtapa island and Roqueta island, as we did report earlier - since yesterday MMM also did get some nice infos around their QTHs...

A group of Greek hams SV1JG Cliff, SV1RC Spiros, SV1RP George, SV1EEX Nikiforos, SV1GRM Theodoros, SW1GZL Lykoyrgos, SV1HER Sotirios & SV1JCZ Daniel will be active from the complex of three (3)uninhabitant islets called ASTAKIDA at Karpathion Sea (IOTA: EU-001). Nik, SV1EEX will be in touch with me and send first ideas about the RIG for V/U/SHF...

SX5AS - Dx-pedition at Astakida islets
Special Call for Dx-Pedition to the Lighthouse of the Rocky Islet of Astakida. Location: South-West of Rhodos Isl., West of Karpathos Isl., North-East from Creta Isl., North from Kassos Isl. Latitude: 35°53'30"N, Longitute: 26°49'54"E Lighthouse Astakida, Grid: KM35jv.

Daniel, ZS6JR and Frosty, K5LBU will also be hosting a DXpedition to Botswana (A2) from 5-20 July which includes the IARU HF Contest. Please do welcome a complete overview file from Hal, ZS6WB, what shall happens in A2 later in July. You are able to download his infos as a nice PDF-file...
